In their ceaseless quest for the best possible solution, the GORE RUNNING WEAR™ product designers have created a jacket to meet the high demands of serious middle-distance runners: the PULSE AS Jacket and PULSE AS LADY Jacket.
This jacket has been placed in our "Zone" category. This is the category for products providing exactly the right material combination for the relevant parts of the sports performer's anatomy.

Perfect material mix for top performance
The combination of high-functionality and very light materials is also known as "body mapping". In the case of the PULSE AS Jacket, this involves three main aspects:

Wind protection
WINDSTOPPER® Active Shell protects the front part of the body, shoulders and kidney area from the wind, stopping you from getting cold. The windproof and breathable laminated material provides optimum temperature equalisation, helping to maintain a constant body temperature. Along with the thermal and physiological benefits, the material is also extremely light and makes very little noise.

Ventilation
The garment also gets rid of excess heat and moisture with special mesh inserts in the back. These gussets are so light they are almost transparent - the next step would be to wear nothing at all! An additional mesh liner material provides a pleasant jersey feel, lying soft against the body and preventing the material from clinging to your skin.

Freedom of movement
WINDSTOPPER® Stretch fabric on the arms and back ensure unrestricted freedom of movement. The jacket adapts perfectly to your anatomy and running style.

The end result
The PULSE AS Jacket is an understated, stylish design with ergonomic slim-fit lines for a perfect fit, providing an ideal combination of protection from the elements and maximum ventilation, all in an ultra-lightweight garment.

The PULSE AS Lady Jacket has the same features as the male garment, with some adaptations of design and styling to cater for the needs of the female anatomy.
